YES developed and first facilitated The Club in 2024 to help Pathways’ high school students learn and practice the fundamentals of investing. Students learn key concepts such as the time value of money, risk, return on investment, and opportunity cost. They learn how to pick and track stocks on the NASDAQ and NYSE stock exchanges by participating in The Stock Market Game, a simulated trading platform using real-time data, where they receive $100K to invest and track. Participants earn up to $100 in cash incentives to establish real-world investing portfolios.
